Join me in this virtual circle for the New Moon in Aquarius, where we will take a guided journey to meet our inner Wild Woman. What can the undomesticated, untamed part of ourselves teach us about our daily life and our choices?

Welcome to the Circle

Women’s circles have been a vital part of my life for the past 20 years, both as a participant and as a facilitator. I have hosted small in-person circles, but now I feel that it’s time to offer the same experience in an online format. I believe the power of community is especially important for women right now, and the more circles we have, the stronger we become. That's why I've aligned with The Wild Woman Project, whose mission is "To awaken women to their most authentic, undomesticated nature, so they may feel like themselves, all the time, no apologies."

We need spaces where we can shut out the noise and connect deeply with our inner selves and our highest guidance. We need spaces where speaking our truth is encouraged and celebrated. That is the purpose of every new moon circle I host—not to teach you, but to offer space for you to know yourself better and to experience the power of sisterhood.

What You Will Need
  • A quiet space without distractions

  • A candle and something to light it with

  • Your journal and a pen

  • Familiarity with the basic functions of Zoom (muting/unmuting, turning video on/off, using the chat bar, and using emoji reactions)

  • Anything you might need to be comfortable, such as a blanket, a beverage, a warm cat, a loyal dog, etc.

What to Expect
  • The general format of the circle is as follows:

    • Welcome and check-in

    • Wild Spirit Invocation and lighting of the candle

    • Centering (moving from Head into Heart)

    • Introduction to this month's theme

    • Meditation journey

    • Sharing

    • Intention setting

    • Closing

  • Two hours are allocated for the circle, but it may run shorter than that, depending on the number of attendees. It will not go over the two-hour mark.

  • Circles will be held once a month on the Sunday before the New Moon from 2:00-4:00 p.m. I'm on Central Standard Time. If you're in a different time zone, please be sure to verify the correct meeting time when you register.

  • There is no particular dogma or creed here. We all come from a variety of backgrounds and viewpoints, but these are the things we have in common and hold sacred in the Wild Woman Project, with credit to founder, Chris Maddox:

    • Sisterhood – we support and empower one another

    • Respect for our Mother Earth – nature heals and teaches us, and we honor Her in return

    • Creativity – we are all inherently creative beings

Confidentiality and Sharing

There are three rules here that absolutely must be kept in order to ensure the integrity of the circle:

  1. When sharing, you must speak from your own experience only. Do not share the story of another sister without permission.

  2. Whatever is spoken in sacred space remains sacred and confidential. Do not repeat anything a sister has shared about herself.

  3. We're not here to fix each other and give advice. We trust that each sister has the ability to follow her own inner guidance. Our main goal is to listen and be supportive. Simply placing your hand on your heart is a great way to show that you hear someone and that you care.

Cost

There is no cost to register for New Moon circles, but contributions are greatly appreciated to help cover website and Zoom fees. You may add a tip at https://buymeacoffee.com/quillgoddess if you feel inspired to do so.
